The founder
Michael Furnace.
Heart Rooted Harvest was founded by Michael Furnace — a United States Marine Corps veteran of eight years, raised in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, “with a dream and a vision.”
Before founding Furnace Hospitality Group, Michael spent years leading restaurant teams, where he built a school box-lunch program and saw first-hand how much institutions depend on a food partner who shows up, every day, exactly as promised.
Heart Rooted Harvest brings that lesson together with something more personal: a belief, learned at family tables in Mississippi, that food is one of the clearest ways to show people they matter.

Our crest places two skylines side by side. Dallas represents where we are building today. Jackson represents the Mississippi roots that shaped our values. Between them, a heart formed by roots rises over fields at sunrise — the journey from where we come from to who we serve.

Heart Rooted Harvest is a division of Furnace Hospitality Group, which provides funding and financial control, real estate and site development, hiring, accounting and purchasing, and brand standards for each of its concepts.

We plan to grow carefully: first, dependable programs for institutions in Princeton and North DFW; then, as operations prove themselves, larger multi-location contracts, expanded wholesale services and wider community reach. We’ll share each step when it’s real.
