Colorful vegetable meals in clear bowls

Childcare & Preschool Nutrition

Little learners.Meaningful nutrition.

Age-appropriate breakfasts, lunches, suppers and snacks for childcare centers, daycare facilities and preschools — delivered on your schedule, documented for your records.

For childcare directors

One less thingto worry about at 11:30.

Directors juggle ratios, staffing, licensing and families — all before lunch. A dependable meal partner should make that easier, not add another task to manage.

We design menus for the age ranges you serve, deliver within your receiving window, and communicate clearly about ingredients and allergens so your team can serve with confidence.

Now accepting program inquiries. Heart Rooted Harvest is preparing for launch in Princeton, Texas and North Dallas–Fort Worth. Formats, start dates and service areas are confirmed in writing during proposal review — submitting a request never commits you to an agreement.

A note on CACFP

Accurate about theChild and Adult Care Food Program.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal USDA program administered in Texas by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Participating centers can receive reimbursement for meals that meet program meal patterns and recordkeeping requirements, and centers that purchase meals from a vendor generally have specific procurement and documentation obligations.

Heart Rooted Harvest does not currently claim CACFP vendor approval, and we cannot guarantee reimbursement eligibility. Your sponsoring organization and the Texas Department of Agriculture determine what qualifies. If you participate in CACFP, tell us in your inquiry and we will discuss what documentation and menu requirements your program needs before any agreement.

How a program comes together

From first conversationto first delivery.

  1. Share your center’s needs

Age ranges, counts, meal types, operating days and delivery locations — the planner below collects them.

  2. Review a proposed menu cycle

We outline menus by age range and the documentation we’ll provide with each delivery.

  3. Confirm details in writing

Allergy procedures, ordering cutoffs, receiving windows and start date go into the agreement.

  4. Serve, share and refine

Downloadable menus for families, and scheduled reviews with your team.

FAQs

Questions buyers ask

Search all FAQs
Can you accommodate food allergies?

We work with each center on organization-level allergy procedures and document ingredients and allergens on every item. Specific accommodations are confirmed in writing before service — we never ask for children’s medical records through the website.

Do you serve infants?

Tell us the age ranges you serve in the planner. Infant feeding has distinct requirements, and we will be clear about what we can and cannot provide.

Are your meals CACFP-reimbursable?

We do not claim CACFP vendor approval. Reimbursement depends on your sponsor and the Texas Department of Agriculture’s requirements. We’ll discuss documentation needs openly before any agreement.

Do you publish pricing?

Not on the website. Pricing depends on meal types, volume, format, delivery and contract length, so every program receives a written proposal prepared by our team.

Is submitting a request a commitment?

No. Requests and builder submissions are proposal requests only. A program begins only after both parties sign a written agreement.
